Ingredients
For Custard
10 pieces - egg yolks
1 can - condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon - vanilla
pinch of salt
For Merengue
10 pieces - egg white
1/2 teaspoon - cream of tartar
3 tablespoons - confectioner sugar
1/2 teaspoon - vanilla
pinch of salt
Recipe
Pour the egg yolk in a pan over medium heat and stir, add condensed milk, vanilla and pinch of salt. Continue stirring until all mixtures will dissolve. Set aside. For the merengue, beat egg whites using electric mixer, add confectioner sugar, pinch of salt, vanilla, beat until it's foamy. Brush the paper wax with oil and put the merengue evenly by using spatula and bake 20 minutes, 200 temperature. Then let it cool, put the custard evenly on top of the merengue and roll. Spread confectioner sugar on the brazo de Mercedes.
